Its Finally Here!

So our before and after dining room chair is FINALLY here! I have actually been done for about a week but have been too lazy to photograph it! Anyhow, I am so excited about it! I bought these chairs at our antique thrift store for $20 each.

We sanded, painted, and recovered. I used Ralph Lauren Black Truffles paint- its a deep chalky grey and recovered using a remnant I found that I got for $2 a yard!

But sad news as well. As Jenny on Little Green Notebook announced, Home Depot is getting rid of my favorite paint line, Ralph Lauren. So I am going to do as Jenny did and take one of every paint chip to make my own paint deck. It will be a little sad.
But the hubs and I are going on a thrifting date later today, as well as visiting the amazing Cupcake and eating several of their awesome Red Velvet Cupcakes, yummmm.
