Flower of the week

I love filling my my house with fresh flowers. I normally buy some at once a week, sometimes twice! Nature has calming properties and flowers are an easy way to bring some of that into your day to day routine- especially when you live in an apartment and don't have a yard! So I thought I would share a little bit of my obsession with the flower of the week.

And I thought I would share a picture of my hubby's birthday dinner this past weekend! We started off the weekend strong with going to see the movie SALT, which I would highly recommend! Saturday we went tubing on the river all day with some dear friends, it was 100 degrees and the water felt amazing! Then we met my family for dinner for amazing food and fun times. Total success!
