I love looking back at the end of each year to see what I've accomplished (or not accomplished haha!), but its also so great to look forward and get excited for what's next. Its going to be hard to top 2011, but I have faith in 2012, its going to be awesome!
My biggest resolution is to run my first half-marathon, yikes! Luke and I are training for this half in Ashville NC. If any of you are runners, pls let me know so I can pick your brain! I also expect you all to help me stick to my running plan by making me get off my butt!

Happy New Year! I ran my first half marathon about 5 years ago and it's really not as hard as you think! I used Hal Higdon's Beginner training planner and I highly suggest it, his plans are so good and you can find them on www.halhigdon.com. Another suggestion is if you don't have good running shoes to go get a pair but go to a running store and have them fit you for the right pair, trust me I ran for many years in the wrong shoe and didn't know it! Also I try to think of running as my personal therapy- a time to just let my mind go and not stress and that is how I look forward to my long runs. oh and remember not every day or every run is going to be perfect- it's ok to have bad days! I hope this helps!

Good luck with your goals! This will be the year of organization for me =) I wish I could run more, but I usually end up with an injury. I hope to start my own etsy shop soon also! ;)
