Do you ever see one of those DIY's that make you think, that's the best idea ever why didn't I think of that? And you then immediately want to go grab your hot glue gun and start gluing anything in site?
Well I was over at Dana's cute blog... and she linked over to Design Blooms where Nicole made these DIY sea urchins .
So fun right? Nicole made hers big but I think I want to make some smaller versions for my coffee table. What do you think, are these a good knockoff?

I've also read that clear stir sticks work great. They have a triangular shape that add a little more umph to the project. Love this DIY!
GIRL!!!! this is such a fun idea. does she include directions? i have some ideas that wouldn't look so diy from afar. might be perfect for a high bookshelf. can't wait to see what you come up with!

I love when you find a DIY like that, but then getting the gusto to actually go out and get the stuff is always where I start to burn out. This would be super fun though, might have to try it.
