As part of my She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not post for Michaela last week, I mentioned how much I love black window and door casements. It sounds like a small detail but I think it completely transforms a space. It adds drama and frames a gorgeous view or a huge wall of windows. I rounded up some of my favorite inspiration, and it makes me want to grab some paint and attack my rental windows. Would you paint your casements black?

i like the contrasting look... especially in the bathroom image, I almost feel like it makes a room look a lot bigger

we moved to our home in september, and it has gray casing in the living room and I love it. I just may transform my office with darker casings eventually. they are white currently, in my office, that is.
