I'm leaving on a jet plane bright and early tomorrow morning to Canada to pick up my hubby... he's been there far too long and I can't wait to have him home with me.
I've been traveling so much for work and back and forth to Canada recently I feel like a nomad, but one of the upsides of living out of a suitcase is you learn to be a professional light packer. I have a series of outfits that I go to again and again that make traveling easy. I always pack a trench coat, black sweater dress, chambray shirt, fun flats, boots, black skinny jeans, colorful scarf, lots of stripes and a maxi skirt make it easy to mix and match.

I pride myself in being a light packer! I hate checking bags! The only time I am not is when I am driving, then I feel like I have a whole car to fill!
i am definitely a light packer. mainly because i hate having to carry a big bag. if i can get away with a backpack for 2 weeks i know i've done well.
I have to be very organized when I travel and plan out each outfit! I don't want to waste time figuring it out when I'm there, or not feeling great about what I'm wearing. But I'll often bring a few alternates. I do bring a lot of shoe and clutch options tho! Ha hs
Looks like you have packing down to a science! I've gotten better a packing light... we only do carry ons for most of our vacations so packing mix and match outfits with fun accessories always does the trick!

I usually plan ahead my outfits and make a mental note so I don't forget what I've put together. But sometimes I forget!
Those options all go so well together! I unfortunately am the worst packer, I tend to overpack. I'm working on it!
Yay for seeing the hubby soon! But as for packing? I tend to go light. I always usually shop wherever I'm visiting, so it's nice to know I'll have room for all my new goodies. ;)

As I've gotten older, I've defintely gotten better at packing lightly. I used to be the worst over-packer in the world. Thankfully it's gotten better b/c who wants to lug all those extra clothes around and un-pack more when you get home??
