She's Got Style: barefoot + vintage

oh hai - paige here from barefoot + vintage! i'm so pumped to be a part of eileen's fabulous new feature - she's got style. which i'm assuming means i have some style, right? the truth is - i feel like my style is all over the place! from boho to classic to vintage - there's nothing i won't try. well...there is one thing that scares me. read on to find out!
today, i'd like to talk a little bit about trends. while some are easy to recreate - color blocking, layering, sheer blouses... others, not so much. for example - short shorts {not for everyone}, floral or printed pants, head to toe leather, overalls {lord, help us}, hammer pants, cropped shirts, ripped tights, etc... i think you get the point. i'm not necessarily saying that any trend is a bad trend, i just think that some people are better than others at actually giving the trend a good name. with that being said, i'd like to share my favorite trend - mixed prints! sure, i've mixed a stripe with a floral print, here and there, but my absolute favorite {that i'm too scared to try!} is floral on floral. how do they do that?! lately, i've been obsessed with and gathering inspiration from SUNO NY - check out these delectible pieces + amazing combinations!
right?! so good. one of these days i will get up the nerve to mix floral with floral. what are your thoughts on mixing prints? are you a novice, like myself? if so, check out these tips. and for even more inspiration - mixing prints in style via pinterest. thank you so much for having me eileen! i'm totally flattered to be posting among such lovely and stylish ladies! xo, paige

Great article and really interesting comments.
I think one thing I have learned since this article was written is that you need to be flexible and of course, always review!
