This is what happens when you walk around the house with your beloved gold leaf pen looking for something else to gold leaf, and its actually one of my favorite DIY's to date.
Jenny's post about Caitlin's DIY sharpie les touches chairs reminded me how much I love this fabric and I just looked at a picture and got to work. In total it took about 10 minutes and cost $3, the price of a clearance TJmaxx tray. It looked pretty for about 5 minutes before it got filled with keys, papers, earrings and notes.
BAM Eileen. You nailed it again!
ReplyDeleteThere's such thing as a gold leaf pen?? Must get my hands on that!! This turned out amazing Eileen!

What a great idea! I am thinking of seriously rummaging around the house to see if I find a white plate or something which I can use to ry out this idea.
