I'm not going to lie, we are a little overwhelmed. We hit 26 weeks this week for the twins and its hitting us how fast they are coming, and we haven't gotten that much done. The house renovations are coming along but its so much to try to finish before the babies come and right now we are in the 'can't see the light at the end of the tunnel' phase. I know it will all get done (cause it has to ha!) but its overwhelming to live in the house while we are doing all the reno and pregnancy hormones are acting up. I'm getting less and less mobile with the babies getting bigger and bigger and then Luke's car died this past week. Its been coming for his car but we were hoping for it to last maybe one more year.
I know that all of these 'problems' are temporary and small but it feels like a lot to this pregnancy brain. I'm grateful for the opportunity to add a bathroom for the twins and I'm very grateful to not be on bed rest at this point and that the twins are healthy. I'm not trying to complain but I would be lying if I said everything was roses at this point. One thing I love about this blog is having a journal for our married life together and being able to look back and see the big picture, so right now I'm looking forward to the point when I can look back at this time and laugh. Now I'm going to go drink some more water, its 100 degrees here today!
